THE PURPLE TOUR
This tour is intended for folks interested in the best of both worlds: Game of Thrones filming locations plus the story of Dubrovnik and its landmarks.
Grab our presentation book which has the actual scenes from the show, an audio device (makes it really easy to hear in a crowd) and join the adventure with our costumed guide! We’ll visit places where the Game of Thrones is played by the great houses of Westeros, and take a peek into how the same games were played by the noble families of Dubrovnik. Arise from Blackwater Bay, the Flea Bottom and attend the dangerous Purple Wedding. Venture across the steps to the Great Sept, and follow the infamous Walk of Shame by a route that has the fewest number of steps and a high number of filming locations. You will not only have an opportunity to take photos of the filming locations and compare those to the scenes from the show, but you’ll also learn about the history of Dubrovnik, which, remarkably, has many overlapping points with stories from Game of Thrones.

KING’S LANDING TOUR

See King’s Landing and Dubrovnik through the eyes of the Captain of the Guards!
Are you a “die-hard” fan of Game of Thrones? Do you feel regular tours don’t offer enough for you? This might be what you’re looking for! On this tour, the Captain of the Guards will share more stories about the actual scenes from the filming locations.
In the company of the Captain, learn about behind-the-scenes details, tricks used during filming, more about Dubrovnik’s history, and get a glimpse into the city’s defences – both tactical and political. The Lovrjenac Fortress plays host to many Game of Thrones scenes and gives you an insight into the might of Dubrovnik’s fortification system.
Enjoy several photo opportunities along the way, take in the views, snap a selfie with the Captain, and wind through the side streets of King’s Landing to finally claim the Iron Throne.
